D'Aguilar Ranges
Covering the areas of Kilcoy, Woodford and through to Caboolture, vineyards have been established in this region for approximately five years.

Sunshine Coast Hinterland
Many vineyards are being established in this region including Flaxton, Montville, Maleny, Kenilworth, Gympie and Eumundi. The vineyards have been showing promising results.

South Burnett
Located north west of Brisbane, the South Burnett is bordered by the Great Dividing Range and the flourishing red paddocks of Kingaroy. This region is the fastest developing wine area in Queensland.

Details: The Stanthorpe State High School is regarded as one of the leaders in the provision of vocational education in southern Queensland. The school has the largest agricultural training facility of any Queensland secondary school with a diverse range of commercial enterprises.The school in partnership with industry established their own vineyard in 2000 and today produces a range of wines under the Banca Ridge label. The Queensland College of Wine Tourism is being developed adjacent to the Stanthorpe State High School with construction expected to start in late 2005.
