Details:Villacoola Vineyard is situated on the banks of the Balonne River at Surat. Wine grapes were established in the early 1900's. The vineyard is part of the Maranoa district with its hot summers and cold winters. This climate, together with deep loamy soil and controlled drip irrigation from the Balonne River, produces fine table wines as well as the great fortified. Although a young vineyard, a Bronze medal has already been awarded to the Liqueur Muscat. Villacoola is situated on the historic Cobb & Co coach route from Surat to Yuleba hence the coach icon on the label.
