Covering the areas of Kilcoy, Woodford and through to Caboolture, vineyards have been established in this region for approximately five years.

Sunshine Coast Hinterland
Many vineyards are being established in this region including Flaxton, Montville, Maleny, Kenilworth, Gympie and Eumundi. The vineyards have been showing promising results.

South Burnett
Located north west of Brisbane, the South Burnett is bordered by the Great Dividing Range and the flourishing red paddocks of Kingaroy. This region is the fastest developing wine area in Queensland.

Details:Owners Joe and Elizabeth Brischetto planted their first vines in 1996, expanding to the current size of 12,000 vines (including some table grapes) the following year. The first vintage was a limited Shiraz in 1999 which was totally sold out. The 2000 and 2001 vintages are now available for sale and tasting at the cellar door. The winery is located at the costal town of Bargara, 12 km from Bundaberg and visitors can enjoy the views of the sea and vineyard from the outdoor tasting area. Five wines are on offer.

Products/Varieties: Chardonnay, White Muscat, Merlot, Shiraz/Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon Coral Coast Sweet Red and Mellow Shiraz, and Brischetto Wines own special style of wine - their Mellow Shiraz and a Sweet Red. In addition there are two fortified wines - First Edition Vintage Port and the First Edition Reserve Vintage Port.

Opening Times: Cellar Door sales and tasting open daily from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Wines also available via mail order.
