Details:Tamborine Estate located in the Gold Coast Hinterland Wine Country was established in 1990 and became known for producing quality wines with an emphasis on QUALITY.
The deep red volcanic soil with its great drainage has proven to produce good crops of high quality grape. The vines are now more than 13 years old, thus allows for greater concentration of flavours in the grapes and better acid and tannin structures. Ultimately the age of the vine plays a large part in determining the quality of the wine.
The vines are planted on a plateau over 500 meters above sea level, it is considered a cool climate region, cooler than the Hunter Valley. Tamborine Estate also sources grapes from contract growers throughout Queensland and some other regions under the very selective control of our winemaker.
